1. Combine the following sentences:

The flapping is restless.
Their instructor reminds them.
They should forget their dreams.

2. Go to "Helpful Stuff," view the "The Sentence" PowerPoint, and take notes (write at least SIX things down).

Make sure the following handouts are in the LATE (L) basket: Apostrophes, Comic Strip Poet Test, Complex Sentences, and Editing Practice 2 and 3 (not Period 6).
Recycle all of your papers from first and second quarter.
Find the first blank page in your notebook and write "Welcome to Third Quarter" on it.
Pick up a syllabus for third quarter (Folder #1).
Complete Wednesday Word: memorabilia (see Wednesday Word folder for new paper).
Complete The Colon (Folder #2).
